About Me

Chandia Scovia Joseph is a skilled and detail-oriented Finance and Administration professional with a Diploma in Business Administration from Global Polytechnic Institute, Juba. She brings over three years of progressive experience in financial management, administration, and humanitarian project support, combining precision, accountability, and dedication to excellence in every task she undertakes.

Before joining REDO, Scovia served as a Finance and Admin Assistant (Maternity Cover) and Finance Intern with United Networks for Health (UNH), where she gained extensive hands-on experience in petty cash management, payroll preparation, payment processing, financial reporting, and QuickBooks record entry. She also supported HR recruitment, logistics, and documentation—demonstrating her ability to multitask effectively in fast-paced organizational environments.

Her earlier roles with the South Sudan Red Cross (SSRC) as a Finance Intern, PMER Volunteer, and WASH Volunteer strengthened her technical and humanitarian perspective. She became proficient in financial documentation, reconciliation, general ledger entry using Navision Excel, and data collection and analysis for donor-funded programs.

Scovia also supported field-level coordination and financial accountability processes across SSRC branches, enhancing transparency and compliance in humanitarian finance operations. Her time as an EcoSec Volunteer with the ICRC further equipped her with community engagement, monitoring, and reporting skills—bridging financial diligence with human-centered service delivery.

Scovia is highly proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and QuickBooks, with strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills. Known for her integrity, attention to detail, and teamwork, she embodies REDO’s values of transparency and accountability in program implementation.

At REDO’s Head Office, Scovia plays a vital role in supporting financial administration, reporting, and compliance, contributing to the organization’s mission of sustainable development and effective service delivery across South Sudan.
